The founder of Freedive Puerto and one of Mexico’s leading freedivers. Competing over the last 6 years has led Pablo to achieve a breath hold of 8 minutes and a depth of 91 meters, he has set 11 national records and 4 continental records across the disciplines of DYN, DYNB, DNF and STA. As an AIDA Master Instructor, he has been imparting knowledge and coaching people since 2018.

Located in the beautiful state of Oaxaca, Puerto Escondido is a place where you can embrace a simple and active lifestyle. With its warm tropical waters and abundant marine life, it’s an ideal destination for freediving enthusiasts, catering to both depth and pool disciplines. It is common to experience listening to humpback whales singing while doing depth diving, especially during the months of December through February.
Water temperature in Puerto Escondido can vary, but typically from November to April, it ranges approximately from 26 to 28 degrees Celsius (79-82F) on the surface. As you descend to depths of about 30 meters, the temperature can drop to 20 to 24C (68-75F). During the period of May to October, the surface temperature rises to approximately 28 to 31C (82-89F), and below 30 and 60 meters, it typically drops to 22-24C (72-75F).
